The 2-month Climacité© project is a key component of Excelia’s MSc specialisation in Sustainable Finance for those choosing the Classic Track in Year 1. This unique experience enables you to commit to an environmental project with an NGO or association, in France or abroad. As future managers, the aim is to raise your awareness of the challenges of protecting the environment and adapting to climate change. Climacité© is so much more than just a simple project… it offers a valuable opportunity for personal and professional development. Programme format and language

  • The Classic Track is a full-time programme in 12 or 24 months, depending on the year you join in
    • 24 months for students having already validated 3 years of higher education (180 ECTS)
    • 12 months for students having already validated 4 years of higher education (240 ECTS)
  • The Work-study Track is available in Years 1 and 2 or in Year 2 only, with 3 days school-based and 2 days company-based 
  • Language: English only

Assessment

Three types of evaluation 

  • Continuous assessment: 40% of the final mark. Throughout the year, you will work on group or individual projects which will be marked by your teachers 
  • End-of-semester exams: 60% of the final mark. These take the form of written exams
  • Professional Thesis

Your teachers

The teaching team for this MSc is made up of French and international research-active Faculty members and industry professionals who are known for their strong expertise in the field of management and their international experiences and expertise. 
The research-active Faculty work with our laboratory, Excelia Lab, offering innovative pedagogy, whilst the industry professional lecturers focus on real-life business issues.

Types of lessons

Your core course modules are taught as amphitheatre lessons, with your entire Year Group. In addition, depending on your chosen specialisations, language ability, etc., you will attend tutorials in small groups.

Climacité© Project

Description expérience EN

By focussing on one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the aim of the Climacité initiative is to familiarise you with the issues of environmental protection and how to effectively address climate change. Your 2-month project is an opportunity for you to make a personal contribution to the planet, working in an NGO or an association, either in France or abroad. 

Year 1: 4-month internship

The Classic Track offers you the opportunity to carry out 4 months of internship, in France or abroad in Year 1. The theoretical expertise acquired during MSc lessons is therefore complemented and validated by significant company-based experience.

Work-study Track

A work-study track is available in Year 1 and Year 2. Students choosing this track will spend 3 days school-based and 2 days company-based per week.

Multiservice charge

Fee: €250

This one-off Multiservice fee gives access to the following services: Multimedia and Internet network, Cyberlibris (online library), Student Identity Card, Reprographics credit, Intranet, e-learning modules, Wi-Fi, Career Centre activities and services, International Insurance-Assistance (for any periods spent abroad during the period covered by this contract), University library, University Medical Service etc.
