- Where do the courses take place?

The courses are principally held in La Rochelle, on the west coast of France. However, some courses incorporate field trips to other iconic cities, such as Florence in Italy.

What are the requirements for enrolment?

These courses are open to students of all levels of study, from undergraduate to postgraduate. The majority of courses are taught in English, so a good level of English is essential (A2 minimum). However, for the French Language, Culture & Gastronomy and the French Language, Culture & Sports courses, you will need a minimum of A2 level in French.

In which language are the courses taught?

All courses are taught in English. However, for the French Language, Culture & Gastronomy and the French Language, Culture & Sports courses, you will need a minimum of A2 level in French.

What is included in the course fees?

The course fees cover lessons, cultural excursions, and accommodation. However, please note that for the Fashion, Design & Luxury Industry Management summer course, transport to Florence (Italy) is not included.

DIGITAL MARKETING
Lessons are online and taught entirely in English by experienced industry professionals who are experts in their respective specialist fields, ensuring a combination of both theory and practice. The goal is to provide you with essential knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the many aspects of the following:
- UX/SEO/Web Design
- Social Media
- Growth Hacking
- Community Management
- Google Tools
The lessons in UX/SEO/Web Design will enable you to learn how to create a website as well as how to enhance search engine optimisation (SEO) to improve your website's visibility in search results. Lessons in Social Media, Growth Hacking and Community Management focus on optimising content management and how to interact with online communities using the concept of Tribal Marketing.
Finally, the Google lessons focus on the two main Google tools: Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Google Ads is an online advertising platform that enables you to promote your products and services on Google and its partner websites.
These modules include practical case studies to explore the design process and help you develop your own tools for successful marketing and communication initiatives.

This summer course focusses on luxury and fashion brands. To fully understand the specificities of the luxury and fashion industry and its management, you will explore the main advances and developments in the various luxury sectors. You will acquire an advanced understanding of the new global dimension of this industry, as well as the socio-cultural and context-related impacts on the branding of products in this sector.
Lessons:
60 contact hours leading to the awarding of 9 ECTS credits (20 contact hours and 3 ECTS credits per week)
- Week 1: Fundamentals of the Luxury Industry & Brand Management
- Week 2: Luxury Innovation & Sustainability
- Week 3: New Trends in the Fashion, Design & Luxury Industry

Through innovative case studies focusing on sustainable development, you will have the opportunity to learn how to implement the various CSR elements on a practical level. You will therefore acquire the key competencies to be able to develop a sustainable and ethical project in a specific business sector. Lessons are taught entirely in English by teachers who are experts in their respective fields.

This course takes place in La Rochelle, not only renowned for its architectural heritage making it one of the most picturesque and historically rich cities on the Atlantic coast, but also for its outstanding gastronomy.
You will be able to discover its delicious fish and seafood cuisine, along with a wealth of dishes made with sea salt from the Ile de Ré. The region is also home to mussels and oysters, world-famous Cognac, and Pineau des Charentes!
You will enjoy a number of excursions to experience the region’s history and culture including a tour of La Rochelle city and its emblematic Towers, its food market with its local produce, 1 entry ticket for the annual Francofolies French music festival, oenology & wine tasting workshops, cooking classes, a visit to a salt producer, and a visit to a producer of Cognac and Pineau des Charentes, etc.

Corporate Social Responsibilité & Environmental issues
As companies evolve in a globalised environment, where economic liberalism and financial deregulation dominate, their activities are regularly scrutinised by their different stakeholders. Corporate Social Responsibility is therefore a key element in any organisation’s strategy and activities.
You will have the opportunity to learn how to implement the various CSR elements on a practical level, through innovative case studies focusing on sustainable development. You will therefore acquire the essential competencies to be able to develop a sustainable and ethical project in a specific business sector.
Lessons:
- 2 weeks: 60 hours leading to the awarding of 7.5 ECTS Credits
