Visit of American Universities to Excelia via the Fulbright Programme

Excelia recently had the honour of hosting a prestigious delegation of Presidents and Deans from 17 leading American universities as part of the 2025 Fulbright International Education Administrators Programme.

Organised by the Franco-American Fulbright Commission, this initiative aims to strengthen international partnerships between higher education institutions and promote the global circulation of ideas, talent, and knowledge.

Fulbright: A passport to the world for students and researchers

Launched in 1946 by American Senator J. William Fulbright, this flagship academic mobility programme is now one of the most prestigious in the world. A true cultural bridge, Fulbright has facilitated exchanges between France and the United States through the Franco-American Commission since 1948. To date, over 21,000 French and American students and researchers have participated in transformative international experiences. Its mission? To foster mutual understanding between nations through education and culture.

This event marks a turning point in Excelia’s international strategy, reflecting our commitment to building enduring educational bridges between the United States and France. More than an academic exchange, it symbolises our pivotal role in strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries, contributing to the evolution of international education.

By hosting these American university leaders, Excelia reaffirms its position as a key player in intercultural education. This visit underscores our dedication to promoting open, global, and collaborative education, preparing students to thrive in an interconnected, multilingual world.
