A few weeks ago, the Worldwide Afterwork event took place… not far from you and all over the globe! This annual event, created for graduates, thrives thanks to its members, providing opportunities to meet up and connect, all over the world.
Obviously, because of different time zones, the Afterworks did not take place simultaneously, but it’s interesting to imagine Alumni gatherings everywhere over a period of 24 hours, each community with its own expectations and agenda, such as Geneva, which opted for a tasting event rather than anything too formal, or Paris, which favoured a speed-meeting!
Conviviality is an important part of the event, even if the objective is ultimately business-related. So, in Switzerland Bacardi was being sipped, in moderation of course, because one of Excelia’s Alumni actually works there and organised a company visit.
Excelia Alumni regularly organises events to stimulate its various geographical groups, relying on local Alumni (Community Leads) and Excelia’s international offices to act as a liaison whether in Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, India, Morocco or China.

The Worldwide Afterwork is held on a Tuesday once a year, but there is always something ‘Made by Excelia Alumni’ happening on the first Tuesday of every month.
