Spotlight on Innovation: a look back at the Lekko Consultancy Project

Innovative collaboration for the future

Excelia is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the ‘Consultancy Project Lekko X Excelia’, a pioneering initiative that mobilised 50 students from the MSc Year 2 in Sustainable Development & CSR on the La Rochelle campus. This project not only marked an important step forward in the collaboration between education and the corporate world, but also enabled our students to immerse themselves in real-life consultancy situations.

Immersion in consultancy… students in action

The aim of the project was ambitious and innovative: to place our students in the position of consultants to solve real-life sustainable development problems for Lekko, our partner company. This immersive experience enabled them to put their academic knowledge into practice in a real and challenging context, preparing them for the complex demands of the business world.

The event was marked by the participation of two influential entrepreneurs, alongside Lekko, who shared their experiences and challenges with the students. The first was Fabien FERDINANDY, founder of Loopi, who introduced the future of slow tourism with an innovative digital solution that encourages sustainable travel. The second, Franck DEVAUX, head of Cèdre Atlantique, outlined his approach to solidarity recycling and responsible job creation, stressing the importance of the separation and recycling of office waste, while also recruiting people with disabilities.

Key Players

Our warmest thanks to all those involved, especially Dimbi RAMONJY and Philippe SCHÄFER, whose commitment and vision were crucial to the implementation of this collaborative project. Their expertise in strategy and CSR not only steered our students throughout the project, but also enriched it with academic and business perspectives.
The students themselves showed remarkable commitment and enthusiasm, demonstrating their keen interest in the issues of regional innovation and sustainable development. Their contributions have been essential in fuelling constructive and promising thinking for the development of the Lekko project on a national scale. This initiative is a shining example of how Excelia is committed to preparing its students to become the leaders and innovators of tomorrow, by placing them at the heart of real and relevant projects. We look forward to building on this momentum, encouraging even more innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.
