A safe and secure environment is an important factor when choosing a place to study. Our 3 campuses in La Rochelle, Tours, and Orleans, as well as our partner sites in Paris and Niort are located in the heart of dynamic economic areas and employment hubs… perfect for building networks.
The ‘welcome’ provided by Excelia is not just in a Week 1… students are looked after and supported throughout their student and professional life. Our international students, who represent 25% of the student body, attest to feeling very much ‘at home’; and all students, in general, are very attached to their place of study. And when our students go abroad, there is always an Alumni* nearby to help them find their way around or in case of a problem.
Everyday life is easy, with excellent sustainable transport networks and an affordable cost of living. Students have many opportunities to get to know each other through initiatives such as the student integration weekend.
In addition to well established student mutual aid, each student, whatever the circumstances, can reply on the support of their own educational advisor. And for any health issues, a nurse is on hand.
A solution to every issue and challenge
Accessibility and inclusion are always a top priority whether considering the premises, luminosity, access ramps, the educational programmes in all their physical and cognitive aspects, etc. The fact that we are a disability-friendly School means we are committed to a process of continuous improvement.
The Excelia Foundation takes the School’s commitment a step further with tangible actions dedicated to its students and graduates, focussing on three philanthropic areas: disability, diversity and entrepreneurship.
The Sentinel Network is Excelia’s crisis unit that certainly lives up to its name. Its objective is to strengthen ties and combat isolation at all costs! During the many months of 2020 and 2021 affected by COVID-19, the crisis unit helped to identify possible issues and to direct students to people who could help.
