CSR: It only takes a minute!

Just a minute!

Every month you have the opportunity to watch La minute RSE (CSR in a Minute)

A short entertaining video to explain what Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is all about, and its purpose.

A working group, made up of some ten teachers and employees, and headed up by Valérie Fernandes, has been working hard on CSR, one of the four priorities of the 2020-25 Strategic Plan, and has broken it down into sub-areas that are currently being validated:

  • Putting into place a governance system that ensures the School's CSR and SD positioning
  • Developing the knowledge and skills of learners so that they become socially aware citizens and socially responsible managers
  • Developing the model of a socially responsible institution in terms of its employees
  • Creating campuses that have a positive social and environmental impact
  • Strengthening our cooperation with socially and environmentally responsible networks

Each of these five sub-areas corresponds to levers, to which documented, tangible and operational actions are linked.

For example, the internal and external communications plan is the lever for sub-areas 2 and 3, with the action being the creation of "CSR in a Minute", a short presentation to ensure that everyone understands the challenges of CSR.

"It's a really pleasant and differentiating medium to get people interested in a subject that is not necessarily simple", says Yves Trousselle, who is heading up the #CSR project for Excelia and who would like to take this opportunity to thank the Communications Department and Simon Landraud for creating these motivating videos based on the material provided.

Discover the first "CSR in a Minute" video, which gives an overview of CSR,

The second video will focus on CSR within Excelia, and each subsequent video will show the operational reality of the actions taken.

“The aim is to explain, make people understand, raise awareness, and motivate... because CSR is not something you can do alone in an office!” emphasises Yves Trousselle.

So, don't hesitate to get involved in the joint effort, or to come and suggest actions and projects that will move us forward... all stakeholders have a role to play and all comments will be taken on board.

As they say, "the proof is in pudding", or in this case... in the video!
