Choosing Excelia
I graduated from High School with a more literary Baccalaureate. I then took a year off before deciding on my academic path.
I discovered Excelia's Bachelor in Communications and Digital Strategies merely by chance. I was looking on Google for courses in visual design, and I was surprised to see this new course available in La Rochelle!
The atmosphere at the School is quite relaxed, and its international dimension and open-mindedness make it a very pleasant place to study.
You meet people from all different cultures, which is very interesting and enriching.
As the city is relatively small, it is easy to get around quickly, whether on foot, by bike or by bus.
What’s more, there are so many cultural events that take place here.
An inspiring course
The visual culture classes with two professional teachers are really inspiring and informative.
In addition to working on real-life projects (such as posters for the Chantier des Francos or a study trip to Porto), they push us to advance our design skills.
A final word
Thanks to several internships throughout the programme, as well as the work-study element in Year 3, we leave with valuable professional experience in addition to the skills that have been acquired.
