Follow the adventure from La Rochelle to Marrakesh on #babelraid2019

The Bab el Raid, a rally which runs between La Rochelle and Marrakesh was created in 2016 and is organised by the Maïenga agency, who have been organising the Aïcha des Gazelles rally of Morocco since 1990. The purpose of the event is to mix a ‘roadmap’ sporting adventure across dirt tracks, everyday challenges and solidarity with the Moroccan population.

Edition No. 4 from 9th - 20th February is already full: the 130 teams, from France, Switzerland, Portugal, England and Peru, are already en route for the big start!​

89 Adventurous Teams and 41 Student Teams will leave Excelia La Rochelle on the 10th February on an adventure together, full of challenges and solidarity actions. Their epic will include a luxurious stopover, with a sumptuous soirée at the HEEC Management School of Marrakesh.​


This year, 27 teams will be made up of Excelia students.

On the programme of this latest edition: 5000 km across France, Spain and Morocco. 12 extraordinary days shared between students, young graduates, employees and even retirees!

Aside from the solidarity action where participants will join in the planting of a thousand date palms in the region of Merzouga, the Bab el Raid, it is also unforgettable encounter with the desert population during this challenging adventure over dirt tracks and through villages hidden in the middle of the desert.
