A day for cleaning up the planet
World Clean Up Day is the largest solidarity movement of all time. Since its launch in Estonia some 10 years ago, this project has spread to over 150 countries with the common objective of bringing together, for one day, 5% of the world’s population to clean the planet of its discarded rubbish.
On Saturday 15th September 2018, the official World Clean Up Day, 100 Bachelor in Business students from Excelia Business School, accompanied by Claire Lecard, Head of EPD, and in solidarity with millions of citizens around the globe, came together to clean up the rubbish on Aytré beach.
It was a day for reflection and understanding through action… carried out with respect, conviviality and solidarity.
