Choosing Excelia
Choosing ExceliaI found out about Excelia thanks to the Passerelle entrance tests.
During my interviews in June 2019 (on 8th June to be more precise), the Student Induction Team (CIA - Comité d'Intégration des Admissibles) gave me a dream welcome. I immediately felt at ease and happy in this School. In fact, after the results of my oral entrance tests, I came back to spend 4 days in La Rochelle.
At Excelia I feel at home, I have met some wonderful people. Furthermore, I am very involved in the School, being Marketing Manager for the Association La Rochelle Actions, a member of Les Butineuses cheerleading team, and an ambassador at fairs and events.
Surprising discoveries?
I didn't imagine that I would have so many choices on my programme!
The Clubs and Associations, and the close links with those in charge of the Master in Management programme, have enabled me to learn a lot of things, such as how to work in a group and how to manage projects.
The preparation for the Cap Anglophone project was also very thorough. Our teacher is a very good listener and she provided support before, during and after this project.
The experiences, the Humacité© project as well as all the faculty confirm my choice.
Outside of Excelia
I manage several association-based projects: creating communication support material, dancing, and representing the School at events or student fairs. Aside from this, I go to watch the rugby matches and enjoy the life in La Rochelle, both by day and by night.
What I like about La Rochelle is the quality of life and, coming from Paris, having the sea nearby is a huge plus. Furthermore, La Rochelle is a small, close-knit city which makes life very pleasant.
