About IRSI

Created in 2012, our Institute for Sustainability through Innovation, known as IRSI (Institut de la Responsabilité Sociétale par l’Innovation) promotes and disseminates CSR and Sustainable Development knowledge and practices among its stakeholders, namely partner companies, local authorities, students, and researchers.

The mission of IRSI is to contribute to the development of conceptual frameworks and tools for organisations (companies, associations, local authorities, etc.) in matters of social responsibility, to create a propitious environment for the ecological transition, and to help organisations adopt more responsible practices and approaches.

Partnership research developed within IRSI involves...

  • IRSI

a managerial aspect, because the institute generates recommendations, methods, and tools for organisations wishing to implement responsible initiatives

  • IRSI

the promotion of academic knowledge, in the form of articles and case studies published in leading research journals and databases, as well as other written works and presentations at research conferences

  • IRSI

a pedagogical focus, since our teaching draws on the results of our research work and/or is incorporated into our programme content in collaboration with our partner organisations, in order to respond as effectively as possible to a constantly changing socio-economic context and to anticipate the challenges of the future in terms of corporate social responsibility

IRSI’s mission is expressed through 4 core activities, in a variety of sectors including agri-food, transport, energy, digital technology, finance, and tourism, as shown below.
