    Biography

    A native of the UK, Claire Russell is a naval architect by training and, for some ten years, worked all over the world as a consultant in the racing yacht building industry. In 1995, she obtained an MSc in Quality Engineering from the University of Newcastle, and subsequently held the position of Quality Manager for the composites manufacturing group SP Systems, before moving to France, where she gradually left the maritime field to teach English.

    Claire Russell joined Excelia Business School in 2008, as Associate Professor and English Language Learning Coordinator. From 2017 to 2020 she was been Director of Studies for Master in Management Year 2 Students. Then in 2020 returned to the Language department to take up the role of Coordinator again.
