Pierre-Olivier AVRIL

Biography

After initially studying chartered accountancy followed by a postgraduate qualification in Management Control, Pierre-Olivier Avril managed a number of strategy departments, before going on to create his own financial consulting firm some 20 years ago. At this point in his career, he developed ‘action-training’ sessions encouraging employees and managers to take ownership of, and implement, planned recommendations. He has also worked for several major groups (such as Gemalto and Canal Plus), medium-sized companies and, for a number of years now, he has been a board member of an investment company.

With his developed taste for education and training, Pierre-Olivier Avril joined Excelia Business School as a Senior Lecturer. He teaches Finance, Accounting and Management Control to students on their first degree course, as well as heading up the Master of Science in Audit and Consultancy.
