Biography
Oussama Kchaou holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Picardie Jules Verne, France. He did his higher education in Tunisia and then in France. His research focuses on the transmission of shocks, sovereign debts, asset pricing, commodities, and sustainability.
Before moving to Tours, Oussama taught several finance courses in various components of the University of Picardie Jules Verne as well as at ESC Amiens. In addition, he was the PhD students’ representative on the laboratory council of the Research Center on Industry, Institutions and Economic Systems of Amiens of the University of Picardie Jules Verne from 2017 to 2021. During the 2022-2023 school year, he worked at Brest Business School where he held the position of assistant professor in finance. He was also the head of the Master in Finance and Heritage Management (Master Grande Ecole) there.
In September 2023, he joined Excelia as an associate professor in finance. Since then, he has taught courses in finance, management control, and accounting, while continuing his research work as a researcher at Excelia’s Research Center in Managerial Intelligence and Innovation.
