Within the framework of its partnership with Excelia Business School, the 7th Edition of the Trophées Emergence Awards, on the theme ‘ l'envie d'entreprendre donne des ailes ’ (the desire to be an entrepreneur gives confidence) has rewarded students who have an entrepreneurial project.
After receiving many applications and considerable preparation by Jean-Michel Cramier, Executive Manager in charge of Corporate Services, a first jury elected 3 finalists to be put forward for the special ‘ Graine d'entrepreneur ’ prize, which is part of the Trophées Emergence Awards. The finalists were : Bastien Lanoes with his project ‘ Safely'Back ’, Hugo Porteboeuf with his project ‘ Eternys ’ and Thomas Grosselin with his project ‘ Week End Go ’.
Organised by the Sud-Ouest and the La Rochelle CCI, the Trophées Emergence Awards ceremony took place on 8th February at Espace Encan in front of some 800 people.
Of the 3 finalist students from La Rochelle Education Group, Bastien Lanoes won the ‘Graine d'entrepreneur’ prize following his 3-minute presentation for his SAFELY’BACK project, a shuttle service allowing students to return home safely, late in the evening. Since September, this service has allowed more than 600 La Rochelle students to get home safely, at a minimal cost. The project is being expanded further, with the aim of developing it on other campuses in the region.
Our congratulations go to our young entrepreneur on his award as well as to the 3 finalists who each won € 1,000 from La Rochelle Education Group… a justified reward for the intensive work they carried out over several months!
