Since its origins as the École Normale Supérieure, the Paris-Cachan campus has undergone major changes: the existing building has been given a new lease of life by not only revamping the teaching and working areas, but also creating new areas for relaxation. With 23 hectares of landscaped grounds, featuring gardens, sports facilities and other amenities, the entire site is perfectly suited to pedagogical developments and new approaches to learning.

• A « high-tech » ecosystem

n our Paris campus, you will be at the heart of the Alliance pour les Sciences et la Technologie Paris-Cachan, comprising ESTP, EPF, and ESITC Paris, along with aivancity – a major business school specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science.

The campus welcomes both national and international students, is state-of-the-art and resolutely embraces Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this respect, connected screens are available in all rooms with collective spaces to facilitate group work. Students also have access to a 100% digital library, and when roaming the corridors, it is quite possible that they will bump into ‘Pepper the robot’!
This ‘high-tech’ ecosystem is proving to be extremely effective… the BBA international continues to expand with the development of a Year 4 on this Paris campus, and an AI speciality has just been launched in partnership with aivancity.
In addition, Excelia is opening a BFY (Bachelor First Year) Classic Track there this year, and is planning the launch of a GFYP (Global Foundation Year Programme), which will offer a truly international and English-speaking year, providing a direct pathway to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
What’s more, Paris-Cachan will soon welcome a number of Master of Science programmes offered by Excelia Business School and Excelia Tourism School, in the following fields:

• Cross-fertilisation of skills

Excelia is committed to a veritable ‘regional cluster policy’ by establishing links with the leading academic players in the area, in particular the engineering schools. 
Indeed, the hybridisation of skills is another key aspect of Excelia’s strategy in Paris, which aims to blend its programmes with different specialisations in order to meet the new expectations of companies in terms of cross-disciplinary skills. In the same way, the nearby ISIT (Institute of Intercultural Communication and Management) enables BBA International students to follow more intensive linguistic and cultural courses amongst other pedagogical possibilities.

• A thriving campus life in Paris!

As regards campus life, a BDE (Student Services Office) was set up at the beginning of the academic year, and our clubs and associations continue to develop, as do our partnerships with the CROUS, EPF (the adjacent engineering school), Ecla student residences, the Cité Universitaire and various other local associations. Things are gathering pace and events are on the increase. At the end of January, there was a visit to the Senate, including an audience with Senator Jocelyne Guidez, which enabled our students to better understand the functioning of this institution, and to share their interests and concerns.
At the beginning of February, students enjoyed the Nuit de l'Interculturel and, on the 23rd of the same month, they took part in Campus Life Day devoted to SGBV issues and to employability. This was organised in partnership with the Talent Centre and local associations from the Val-de-Marne region, and featured workshops and a presentation of the many tools available.
