France… the 6th most popular destination in the world for international students!
A strong increase in the number of international students choosing Business Schools
Business Schools are proving to be increasingly appealing to foreign students (+101% between 2014 and 2019). They have been a particularly popular choice for students from Asia, who account for almost one third of international students enrolled. In fact, two Asian countries rank first and third in terms of countries of origin: China (19%) and India (8%).
There has been a significant increase in numbers coming from other regions too. More and more students from Sub-Saharan Africa and MENA - Middle East and North Africa, (+197% and +111% respectively over five years) have been choosing French business schools, notably students from Ivory Coast (+241%), Senegal (+227%) and Tunisia (+150%).
In general, there has been an increasing number of foreign students choosing to study at business schools.
In the current difficult context, France has asserted itself as a leading destination, with foreign students showing a strong desire to come and study here.
