For the start of this 2021 academic year, 25% of Excelia's 5,000 students are international, representing 80 different nationalities! These impressive figures are thanks as much to the hard work of our six offices abroad, in India, China, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Morocco and the Caribbean-Americas region, as to the recognised quality of our programmes and our international reach.
An international presence
To further highlight our international standing, it was made official yesterday that Excelia Business School has continued to progress in the Financial Times' prestigious world ranking of Masters in Management and is now fast approaching the Top 40! This means a jump to 42nd place this year from 48th place last year, in addition to being ranked 3rd in the world in terms of the programme's international dimension!
The same goes for the QS World University Rankings 2022 of Business Masters, internationally recognised rankings in which four Excelia Business School programmes are featured. The remarkable careers of some of its graduates has enabled the School to distinguish itself in the "Alumni Outcomes" category, which highlights the programmes whose Alumni have been the most successful.
International recognition
So, the Excelia brand goes from strength to strength, is increasingly visible and appealing, and is benefitting from the effect of its triple accreditation. And, despite the difficulties of the last 18 months with all the various COVID restrictions, our Business School still managed to sign 24 university partnership agreements (and 2 for our Tourism School), even with countries that had closed their borders!
In fact, as you read this article, Excelia has reached and exceeded 200 partners around the world. "This demonstrates mutual trust and a shared belief in international mobility and exchange," says Alejandro Escudero Yerro, our Director of International Relations. "Our winning hand consists of impressive accredited programmes, the opportunity to study 100% in English, summer and winter schools, and French language courses... and the word is spreading!" he adds.
