Excelia Business School announces the creation of a double degree for its Master Grande École Programme with HEC Montréal and new international partnerships

Excelia Business School and HEC Montréal launch a joint double-degree

This opportunity enables students enrolled in the Master in Management programme at Excelia Business School to complete their second year of Master’s studies (M2) in Canada. This double-degree agreement allows them to obtain the diploma of the prestigious institution in addition to the Master in Management from Excelia Business School. The first students to benefit from this opportunity will depart in August 2025. At the next academic intake, Excelia Business School will expand its international network with two new accredited partner universities: Stockton University (USA) and Kozminski University (Poland). Among the 192 international partner universities of Excelia Business School, 81% are accredited.

A selective double-degree with HEC Montréal

Each year, five first-year Master’s students enrolled in the Master in Management programme at Excelia Business School will have the opportunity to complete their final year of studies (M2) at HEC Montréal. Upon completion of their academic programme, and without the need for an additional year, the students will be awarded the Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Spécialisées (D.E.S.S.) from HEC Montréal, alongside their Master in Management degree from Excelia Business School. To be eligible, students must meet the following academic requirements:

  • Have a cumulative average of 12/20 over all years of the Master in Management programme,
  • Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3),
  • Demonstrate a minimum of an upper-intermediate level of proficiency in French,
  • Be selected by Excelia Business School

Students accepted onto the double-degree will complete the 10 courses of the D.E.S.S. at HEC Montréal over three semesters. Their studies will begin in August.
They will be able to choose from ten specialisations: Business Analysis; Sustainable Development; Organisational Development; Management; Human Resources; Social Innovation; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Supply Chain; E-commerce; and Project Management. This double-degree joins the 33 other double-degree programmes offered by the business school worldwide.

A unique immersion on Stockton's american campus

Starting in August 2025, students from the Grande École Programme will also have a unique academic expatriation opportunity in the United States, in the state of New Jersey. For one semester, they will attend courses at Stockton University, an AACSB-accredited institution, focusing on entrepreneurship. They will also receive on-site teaching from Excelia Business School faculty. Students will benefit from professional immersion through company visits and cultural excursions. It is worth noting that the partnership agreement facilitates access for selected students without requiring a TOEFL examination.

An agreement with the triple-accredited Kozminski University

From the 2025 academic year, Excelia Business School students will have the opportunity to spend a semester at Kozminski University in Poland. They will attend management courses delivered in English, as well as business English classes. This partnership applies to students from both the Master in Management and Bachelor programmes and forms part of Excelia Business School’s ambition to further strengthen its European presence.

A strong international partnership strategy

To enrich their academic experience and enhance their personal and cultural awareness, Excelia Business School students benefit from a growing range of international opportunities. Over the past five years, the number of academic partners has increased significantly in both quantity and quality: a 32% rise in international partner universities since 2020, with 81% now holding accreditation. Excelia Business School students can therefore choose from 192 universities across six continents.
