Over a period of several months, Year 2 students on Excelia Business School's Masters of Science (MSc) specialisation in Sustainable Development, CSR and Environment, worked on a Consultancy Project with LIDL.
The aim of the Consultancy Project is to give students the opportunity of becoming actual consultants on a topic or a real-life issue on behalf of one of our partner companies. This year our partner was LIDL.
22 MSc students on the Master of Science (MSc) specialisation in Sustainable Development, CSR and Environment developed and put forward tools and methods for collecting data and measuring the economic, financial and social impacts of LIDL's activity within the greater Aquitaine region.
Placing students in a real working situation, this project allowed them:
- to be proactive, putting forward structured and well-argued proposals
- to develop a team spirit and creativity
- to develop interpersonal and social skills in terms of professional behaviour, time management and team work
- to develop expertise on a particular theme related to their studies
- to defend a presentation in front of professionals
- to develop a new way of learning… specifically project-based
The completed project work was delivered on 25th June 2018, in front of LIDL management. The Programme team would like to congratulate all the students involved for their efforts in this project and for the superb proposals submitted to the company.
Special thanks go to the Lidl representatives: Roswitha Kreller (CSR Director), Isabelle Hoffman (CSR Project Manager) and Arnaud Vautrin (Regional Director).
