Future students of Excelia, we would like to welcome you and help you prepare for your arrival in La Rochelle. We will provide you with a link to our dedicated online housing platform so that, in a few clicks and free of charge, you will be able to find your ideal accommodation in La Rochelle.
All you have to do is connect to housing.excelia-group.com to have instant access to many adverts including rooms in private homes, furnished or unfurnished rental properties or even flat/house shares.
The platform also offers you international search tools to help you prepare for your international internships and academic expatriation with ease.
Finally, you can make the most of the messaging service that allows you to contact the owners of the properties you wish to visit, without going through an intermediary.
A solution for everyone
If you are already on a course at Excelia, you can also use the platform. To connect, it's easy. Have your MyIntranet account details to hand and use them to log on. For those who have been offered a place at Excelia, you will be given the link at the time of enrolment which will enable you to connect to the platform.
Offering accommodation
To facilitate the linking of owners with future tenants, the platform has been designed to make it easy to offer a property for rent. Submitting an ad is very simple and can be done in a few steps.
Excelia also allows estate agencies and University Residences to offer accommodation for rent, although the process is different. Simply contact our team at: contact@studapart.com
Renting in a University Residence
The CROUS de Poitiers offers Excelia students rented accommodation, at a reasonable price, in one of its 6 university residences on the La Rochelle campus.
Financial help with housing
The French government offers students housing assistance (financial allowances, advance for a security deposit, guarantor service etc.).
In addition, Loca-Pass, created by Action Logement, allows young people under 30 years of age to benefit from assistance with the rental deposit, which is repaid in several instalments, free of charge, whilst Mobili-Jeune is aimed at under 30-year-old apprentices or students on a work-study track in the private non-agricultural sector. Those who can benefit from these aids are either French students or European nationals living in France for at least 2 years.
